With flicker-free operation, fast lamp ignition and a constant lamp voltage, it is perfect for the next generation of gardening. It produces up to 30% more light than a standard core and coil ballast, while putting out much less heat. The NextGen is the smallest 1000 watt ballast available and weighs just 6 lbs. It can run at any voltage from 90v - 260v, making it very versatile. The Universal Lamp Receptacle will accommodate most manufacturers reflector cords. Built in thermostatically controlled fans turn on as needed and help to control heat, prolonging ballast life.
